Our Principal Solicitor has completed a Bachelor of Laws with Honours from the University of Southern Queensland (USQ) and the Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT). In addition to his legal studies he has graduated from James Cook University (Brisbane) with a Master of Business Administration (MBA). This combination provides our clients with insights to both their legal and commercial matters allowing us to take a more holistic approach to providing timely and cost effective solutions.

Mr Trace is admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia. He has appeared in the Supreme, District and Magistrates Courts as an advocate on behalf of a wide range of clients. He can assist with a broad spectrum of legal matters and is happy to take the time to understand the issues you may face.

Our Principal is also a sessional lecturer at the Queensland University of Technology where he assists the Post Graduate Law School with the final preparation of legal graduates as they prepare for admission to the Supreme Court of Queensland as admitted Solicitors. The Practical Legal Training is the final step a law graduate takes before becoming a solcitor.

Additionally Mr Trace assists the University of Southern Queensland undergraduate law program as a marker for litigation exams and assignments. Both of these roles contribute to the ongoing development of the entire legal profession in Queensland and he undertakes these tasks with an appreciation of the privilege they afford.
